Five of us went last night to this Restaurant in Chapala, we all had different salmons and tuna, calamari appetizers, great blue Margaritas, They really know how to cook everything the right way, An it is reasonably priced, also super friendly staff that remember your name....

Was told LetraCH was the best restaurants in Chapala.  We ate there and found the portions served surprisingly small.  One of the few restaurants lakeside I have left still feeling hungry.

As a directional and tech impaired person could someone give simple driving instructions from the West where many expats are located (yours truly in SAT). Have many choices nearby but like to explore other food opportunities and will surely venture out there with directions that I can follow without getting lost. I think that many folks here will appreciate this without a "check Google or Facebook". I did click the Facebook link provided here but did not see any simple driving instructions. This would also work for other reviews here. Gracias

Come into Chapala via the carretera, stop at the light as you enter town, keep going straight until you pass the legion, go to the end, turn left on Cristianía Ave  (Gonzalez Gallo) where the park de la Cristiania is.  Follow road north till you get to the glorieta, go through glorieta still going north, pass train station on the right, it is approx. a block further up on your left.

I actually looked at a map and it is just past the fourth street on the left, north of the Glorieta.  I know you are not a techie gringohombre, but if you ae a visual learner, here is a map from the American Legion to Letra CH.    Click here for a map from the American Legion in Chapala to the Letra CH restaurant
