This quote speaks volumes about the culture of Mexico.

Benito Juárez: "Entre los individuos, como entre las naciones, el respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz",

...meaning "Among individuals, as among nations, respect for the rights of others is peace".

yes, it is like when we moved from California to a small town in Texas when i was a child.  My father had a stove vent a hood installed in his restaurant.  My dad asked the guy that installed it what it was made of and the guy said "well, it looks like lunyan but its really chrone"  "lunyan" = Aluminum    chrone=chrome......anyway we loved Texas and the people.
