Mainecoons
EnArt is this week, tomorrow through Saturday. Outside of the Feria this is by far the best way to see a lot of great Mexican art under one roof. If you are particularly interest in Alibrijes, one of the very finest artisan families in all of Mexico, from Oaxaca, will be exhibiting, the Fuentes-Piña family. Their latest piece, all carved from one piece of wood, is shown below. It is 23 cm high, 13 cm wide and 45 cm long and priced at only 18,000 pesos, less than $900 U.S. EnArt is held in Tlaquepaque. There's a map on their web page and also their FB page. Take your vaccine certificate or very recent test results with you.

Mainecoons
If you see anything there you later decide you want they will be staying with us next weekend in Ajijic. You can see what they have on their web site, they will have brought many of the pieces. Let me know if you see something you might want and I'll contact them about availability and price. That Armadillo is an amazing museum quality piece. It took years just to prepare the Copal wood, carve in and then months to paint it. It is a signed piece exclusively by Zeny and Reina.
