Mainecoons
I need careful color matching of a custom color. I have only found this equipment at Home Depot in GDL. Hate to make that trip for two gallons of paint. I use Berel paint. Do any of the local paint stores have the color matching equipment yet? Thanks. Mainecoons
There used to be a Berel store on the west side of Ajijic, north side of the street but the last time I was there they could not do color matching. Do you know where the store you are thinking about is? Gracias!
John Shrall
Prisa on the carretera next to Oxxo in Ajijic has matched paints for me in the past. I don't know if they have a machine but the results worked OK. The process takes some time so it's a drop off and then pick up in a few hours. Try a liter and see how it works for you. They write the formula on the container so you can get more. I don't think Berel on the carretera and Tempisque has the means to match paint. Dostortas
Prisa is good with color matching, I’ve taken fabric and other things there as a reference and they match it. They write the formula on the can so you have it for future reference. But they are busy there so try to go early in the morning, they open at 8am, and you can probably pick it up later in the afternoon. Also you can get just a tiny sample to try it first before buying a gallon. I think it’s like 50 pesos for the small sample.

RVGRINGO
We used Comex in Chapala for years, with perfect matching.
Mainecoons
I have not had good results using Comex paints outdoors. It just doesn't last near as long as Berel. At least not at our house.
