Caroline944
Are there any grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants in San Juan consales? Just wondering how far it is to find such shops.
RVGRINGO
Of course. Butcher shop, too. How far from where? Why not start at the plaza and wander about. You will find what you seek, and enjoy the experience.
RickS
San Juan Cosala is not going to have the kind of restaurants and coffee shops and grocery stores etc that one might be used to compared to Ajijic or Chapala. The one restaurant that I know of... that many Gringos love..... is Viva México La Casa de los Granados. I'm sure there must be others, like Restaurante El Crucero, but they will be small and very Mexican. Not saying that they will not be good food but best you bring a Spanish speaking friend. The only 'coffee shop' that I know of, and it's quite good I think, is Coxala Coffee. Lattes, Frapucinnos, smoothies etc. Also serves lite meals/sandwiches. I assume they are still operating.
