Chinese vaccines do not control Omicron

Lots of professors there and not too many Physicians. I suggest they all suit up and head into an ICU with lots of Covid patients so they can REALLY make an informed decision on which is worse... Covid or the vaccines.

No dentists though.  Will you also give credibility to the many practicing doctors who are successfully treating covid?  How about those hospital nurses who are noticing a bunch of young people coming in to hospitals with known side effects after receiving shots?

It's the hospitals that are reporting they are treating vaccinated people for covid BTW.

I am well aware that some people have side effects to the vaccines. They are a very small minority in the big picture.

1) You cannot lump all the vaccines together and make the sweeping assumption that all of them have that small minority of side effects.

2) There is one variable that is not discussed. Why are people not tested for Covid BEFORE they get vaccinated. Is it possible that they already have it when vaccinated and that is the reason for their reaction?

3) Have the side effects killed anyone?

edited to add....FYI: How many people have died as a result of a COVID-19 vaccine? | National Statistical (ons.gov.uk)

How many people have died from the vaccine in the U.S.? - COVID-101

Very difficult to determine this.  VAERS as you may know is severely underreported.

Unless you autopsy as those two German investigators did, how would you know?  The only indicator, and that is indirect, is the numbers of people showing up in hospitals with a shot history and exhibiting the previously linked heart, clot and circulatory issues.

One of the concerns should be that no one is really actively trying to document deaths from the shot.

I'll tell you what.  We'll see what happens with this in six months.  I think this is all going to wind down in the spring.  And, lucky us, I think it will continue to be pretty minor here.

If the many qualified epidemiologists and doctors who think the shots are damaging immune response that too will show up this year.

Thank you for a civil discussion and Happy New Year.

We're headed to the beach!  :D

The Great Barrington Declaration is causing harm. The declaration takes its name from Great Barrington, a Massachusetts resort town. This declaration, signed by 12,000 people, is sponsored by the American Institute for Economic Research, a libertarian think-tank.

The Barrington declaration puts individual preference far above public good. The declaration advocates that, “individual people, based upon their own perception of their risk of dying from COVID-19 and other personal circumstances, personally choose the risks, activities and restrictions they prefer.”

If these views were applied to traffic safety, chaos would ensue as we each chose our own speed limit and which side of the road to drive on. Public health matters, and the approach of the declaration to place ideology over facts helps fuel the pandemic.

No.  In some countries it seems to be showing up more or the same in the vaccinated.

In some others, more the unvaccinated.

In some countries where the treatment option is being ignored, more die and the unvaccinated are at greater risk.

If one has been "fully" vaccinated at least for the moment, empirical data suggests when they get covid it will likely be less severe.

There are a number of studies which suggest natural immunity gained by having and getting over covid is stronger and more long lasting.  However it also appears that natural immunity shares the problem of being less protective with subsequent versions.

In some countries the focus has been on both vaccinating the most vulnerable, not everyone, and doing treatment as well.  They don't seem to be having covid outbreaks at the moment.

I suggest you read the Great Barrington Declaration.  It is a very measured statement about the need to not put all the eggs in one basket and not to ignore the social and economic damage of measures which really haven't worked well.  It's hardly crazy or radical.

My family and I have made the successful thus far decision to rely on treatment and effective protective measures and not to risk the side effects of these vaccines.  So far so good.

We are speaking out not because we wish to deny you the option of getting jabbed how ever many times you want.  We are speaking out against being forced to do likewise and ostracized if we do not.

Thanks for asking.

More hairbrained political gibberish.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Barrington_Declaration

The Infectious Diseases Society of America, representing over 12,000 doctors and scientists, released a statement calling the Great Barrington Declaration's proposals "inappropriate, irresponsible and ill-informed". 14 other American public-health groups, among them the Trust for America's Health and the American Public Health Association, published an open letter in which they warned that following the recommendations of the Great Barrington Declaration would "haphazardly and unnecessarily sacrifice lives", adding that "the declaration is not a strategy, it is a political statement. It ignores sound public health expertise. It preys on a frustrated populace. Instead of selling false hope that will predictably backfire, we must focus on how to manage this pandemic in a safe, responsible, and equitable way." Europe's largest association of virologists, the Gesellschaft für Virologie [de], released a statement co-authored by Christian Drosten saying the declaration's proposals were liable to result in "a humanitarian and economic catastrophe".

The U.S. National Institutes of Health director, Francis Collins, told The Washington Post that the proposed strategy was "a fringe component of epidemiology. This is not mainstream science. It's dangerous. It fits into the political views of certain parts of our confused political establishment."

William Haseltine, a former Harvard Medical School professor and founder of Harvard's cancer and HIV/AIDS research departments, told CNN, "Herd immunity is another word for mass murder. If you allow this virus to spread … we are looking at 2 to 6 million Americans dead. Not just this year, but every year."

SignatoriesEdit

While the authors' website claims that over 14,000 scientists, 40,000 medical practitioners, and more than 780,000 members of the public signed the declaration, this list – which anyone could sign online and which required merely clicking a checkbox to claim the status of "scientist" – contains numerous clearly-fake names, including "Mr Banana Rama", "Dr Johnny Bananas", "Dr Johnny Fartpants", "Dr Person Fakename", "Harold Shipman", "Professor Notaf Uckingclue", and "Prof Cominic Dummings". More than 100 psychotherapists, numerous homeopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other non-relevant people were found to be signatories, including a performer of Khoomei – a Mongolian style of overtone singing – described as a "therapeutic sound practitioner".

The Independent noted that the false signatures put its claims about the breadth of its support in doubt, adding that several within the medical and scientific community were skeptical it enjoyed the support it claimed. In response, Bhattacharya said that they "do not have the resources to audit each signature," and expressed regret for the fact that people had "abused our trust" by adding fake names, but reiterated his belief in broad support for its message based on the volume of correspondence he said he received.

We used to have this saying in politics, "Almost any publicity is good publicity."  If the Twits wanted to give that lady some great exposure and help more people realize that if everything about this covid business was on the up and up there wouldn't be such an effort to silence questioners and dissenters and force jabs on people, they succeeded admirably.

She should thank them.

Thé Gréât Barrington Déclaration was signed more than a year ago. Since then the virus has evolved and will continue to evolve. Some medications are not as effective and neither are the plasma infusions. As I said before this virus is a moving target and the ammunition has to be developed accordingly.  All countries are having their ups and downs as can be seen by their developing problems. Sone countries such as Mexico don’t keep close tabs on the problem so the problems are underreported.

Im very glad we have dedicated health personnel here in the US that are working hard at staying abreast of the situation.  It’s just annoying to have a pipsqueak yapping his ignorant ### off.

Definition pipsqueak:  Anyone who disagrees with me.  :D

If you all were so sure of your "science" we would not see cancellation of open discussion and labeling the thousands of equally qualified if not more so scientists who question the approach and the "sorta working" vaccines.  The censorship and personal attacking simply reveals you all real can't back up your claims, which as the situation evolves, look weaker and weaker.

Definition dedicated health personnel:  Anyone who follows the narrative.  Those who risk jobs and reputations raising legitimate questions and pointing out the flaws are just pipsqueaks, wingnuts, nutjobs, etc. etc.

Wingnut, quack, nutjob (fill in blank) Dr. Robert Malone pegged this situation perfectly:

Quote

Toward the end of his interview, Malone suggested that people are in the midst of what he called “mass formation psychosis,” drawing parallels to the mentality that developed among the German population in the 1920s and 1930s.

In those years, Germans “had a highly intelligent, highly educated population, and they went barking mad,” Malone said.

“When you have a society that has become decoupled from each other and has free-floating anxiety in a sense that things don’t make sense, we can’t understand it. And then their attention gets focused by a leader or series of events on one small point, just like hypnosis. They literally become hypnotized and can be led anywhere.

“They will follow that person. It doesn’t matter if they lie to them or whatever.”

Several years ago, he said, people were “complaining the world doesn’t make sense” and that we weren’t “connected socially anymore, except through social media.”

“Then this thing happened,” Malone said, referring to the COVID-19 pandemic. “That is how mass formation psychosis happens and that is what has happened here.”

Take me to your leader!

If I had time I'd go through the posts of some of you and repeat the quite Nazi style things you'd like to see happen, like concentration camps, requiring people to show papers, denying health care, etc.  And you are totally unconscious about what these kinds of ideas lead to.

Crazy, eh?  Umm, check out what is going on in the Netherlands and Austria.

But keep it up, it is so revealing.

Nearly two-thirds of the staff based at the Princess Elisabeth Polar Station in Antarctica have been infected with COVID-19 despite having strict health protocols in place to try to stop the spread of the respiratory disease.

Since Dec. 14, at least 16 of the 25 workers at the Princess Elisabeth Polar Station have caught the coronavirus. The first case was a researcher who had arrived at the base seven days earlier.

The infected researchers were put into quarantine following the positive test. There are two emergency doctors at the Princess Elisabeth Polar Station treating the COVID-positive researchers.

The spread of COVID-19 was surprising for many since all of the researchers were fully vaccinated. The scientists also had to take several PCR tests and quarantine before traveling to the polar station.

Good to see you've accepted your title.      Your cutie comics are pathetic.    Mask mandates have worked.    Vaccines have worked.   It is the small minority screwing this up for the super-majority.      And when you can't get health care for an urgent situation, post back and let us know about it.    Or, don't.

Jan 3, 2022

MISSION, Kan. – One of Kansas’ largest hospitals is straining to treat an influx of COVID-19 patients even as the surging virus sidelines hundreds of doctors and nurses.

At the University of Kansas Hospital, more than 500 employees out of a staff of more than 13,000 are sick or awaiting test results, said Dr. Steve Stites, chief medical officer at University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, Kansas, during a media call Monday.

The illnesses come as the hospital is treating 108 COVID-19 patients, up from 40 on Dec. 1.

“We’ve had to scale back on some elective surgeries and clinics and things like that and all hospitals in our area are having to take similar measures because you’ve got to keep your staff safe. You may not have quite enough people to be able to do all the work,” Stites said.

He said vaccination would have prevented all but a handful of the COVID-19 patients from being hospitalized, freeing up beds for other patients.

“I think what we have to remember is that COVID-19, when you’re unvaccinated, just doesn’t affect the unvaccinated,” Stites said. “It affects everyone because it takes the hospitalizations and it fills up the hospital so much and staff get so sick that it means we don’t have enough people here to take care of everybody, which means we have to scale things back. And that’s the level we’re all at.”

Many hospitals are short staffed becasue many were laid off because they refused to get vaccinated.

Right now there is a huge spike in infections and now I personally know of 4 people who have been triple vaxed and are very sick.

People are dense and unfortunately it will take time but, eventually all those who have been vaccinated will look back at the lunacy. Then again maybe not.

At this.point no one will become fully vaccinated because the governments will continue to push new shots over and over again.

THE VACVINES DO NOT PREVENT PEOPLE FROM.HAVING COVID.. THEY PREVENT FOR THE MOST PART  FROM VERY SERIOS CADE.. the key is for the most part..

THERE IS NO GUARANTY IN LIFE

The right wingers just keep changing the story and making stuff up to suit their view of the world, don't they?    Same with Jan 6th 2021.....now it was not "T" supporters at all......it was a whole conspiracy put together by the FBI.     Wow, trouble brews with these whacks out there.

Geez,  what are the odds?  I know at least thirty people close to me plus I ask and know if another 20 and none are sick but yet you know 4 very sick vaccinated persons. You should have your story published on “Believe it or Not” or Tales of the Unknown.
