Thanks for the replies to my OP. My husband saw Dr Gonzales Ross yesterday (yes, he's the young one) and had a steroid injection. We now have a long term treatment plan with the doctor. When I made the appointment, I simply asked for the spine surgeon, no problem. Appreciate all the responses.

I have suffered a nagging  back pain  for years, started  taking a mild opiate  with some success  then a couple  of weeks ago  we purchased  a foam mattress  topper  from Costco. I was thinking  our mattress was too  hard,  bingo 🤗 I have almost no back pain and no drugs, your milage  may very but this guy is a happy camper!

for spinal cortisone injections?

Has anyone also had spinal, knee, shoulder or other PRP injections (platelet rich plasma taken / made from your own blood) done locally or in Guad?     Lot of success reported, with typical relief averaging 6 months.    Please post any experiences or contacts about it.
