"Te Ata" and "Montford" are true accounts of early Chickasaw life in Oklahoma. Before the Lake Chapala purists weigh in, let it be known the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations are believed to be descendants of the Toltecs who came from the Lake Chapala area.
