Honorandfaith
Does anybody know what time the airport INM office opens now, after the time changes, and the flight departures are earlier? It used to open at 4 AM, but now with my flight leaving at 6 AM, I think it should be opening earlier. Anybody know?

Honorandfaith
In the week between when MX changes back to standard time, and the US does, the GDL departure times get set back am hour, to accommodate landing times in the US...So a flight that normally leaves at 7 will leave at 6. The airlines want you there 3 hours ahead of time to do immigration, check in, security, and boarding. The bottleneck is always immigration. So if it opens at 4, and my flight leaves at 6..It's cutting it very close. Hence my question. And of course, Volaris doesn't have a phone line or chat function. AndyPanda
They will simply continue on their normal schedules, regardless of time changes here or there. Your tickets always represent local time for the departure and destination sites.

You are either confused, or stating this in a confused way. The time in Guad doesn't get set back to "accommodate landing times in the US", it gets set back because Mexico has a different schedule for changing the clocks. Whatever departure time is on your ticket should be the time on your Mexican clocks. The flight doesn't leave an hour earlier. If INM normally opens at 4am, they will still open at 4am according to the correct local time.

The flight that normally leaves at 7AM will leave at 6AM from Guadalajara .....to accommodate landing times in the USA which has not changed time. Next week it will leave an hour later at the normal time of 7AM so this week it is an hour earlier than normal. The poster wants to know if the immigration window that normally opens at 4AM will open earlier to give them more time to process the exit stamp on their FMM for the one week 6 different US flights between 6AM ant 7AM that will be leaving an hour earlier than normal
jrod
INM at the airport in Guadalajara is open 24/7. If the agent is not there, s/he may be downstairs working an incoming flight or in the office, in which case ask someone to get the person for you.
