Bisbee Gal
They've had cones blocking parking on Morelos the past few weekends, but were still allowing vehicular traffic. Soon those blocks will be closed to traffic on weekends, as it was a few years back. Having a pedestrian street, even if only for a block or two is a nice weekend feature and I am glad to see its return.

johanson
The Andador Is Returning to Ajijic OK, I have to admit I have no idea what you folks are talking about. All I know is that my spell checker does not recognize that word, Andador. Google showed me an adv for walkers for old folks. I'm definitely an old folk, but I have no idea what you folks are talking about.
AndyPanda
I believe it is like walkway, based on the verb andar. But that could be too strict; maybe promenade? Maybe hangout?
Bisbee Gal
Andador is a colloquialism for Walking Street....pedestrian only. Andar is the Spanish verb, to walk. Many Mexican towns and cities have Andadors, to wit, https://travel.usnews.com/Oaxaca_Mexico/Things_To_Do/Andador_de_Macedonia_Alcala_63618/ https://foursquare.com/v/andador-tlaquepaque/51290051e4b034d2ae0fabf8 https://en.travelbymexico.com/colima/places-to-visit/?nom=ecolandador https://cookjmex.blogspot.com/2013/06/chiapas-part-5-stroll-along-anador-20.html
johanson
Thanks for the help understanding this word. I am proud that I kind of sort of speak Spanish, but I am a long ways from speaking Spanish fluently.
