dorisb Posted November 6, 2021 Report Share Posted November 6, 2021 I just joined TrustedHousesitters on the recommendation of a friend because my usual dog sitter was unavailable when I was taking a trip. To join, you pay a yearly fee ($129-$169) and post a listing with your dates a sitter is needed. I am a frequent traveler, so I'll probably be using the site numerous times within the year. You have to set up an account with pictures of you, your house, and your pets, as well as a description of sitters' duties, etc. This might be too much trouble for you, but it worked great for my first listing over the Christmas holidays. I got six applicants in the first two days and selected my favorite. The sitters do not charge for sitting; they do it for the opportunity to travel and stay in different places.
