LOOKIN for PAINTER to prepare/paint wrought iron

I can't suggest a painter, as I don't live Lakeside, but I will offer some advice, based on my own experience. Make sure they use the bright orange primer they refer to as "mineo". It is more expensive than the gray primer, but holds up much better on iron. They don't often use it because it's more expensive, so let them know that's not an issue- you are quite willing to.pay for higher quality materials.

And don't let them dilute it with a ton of paint thinner- a little is okay, but not more than 10%, if that. They love to thin it out so it's easier to apply, but that just ensures it won't last as long.

And don't have expectations that they won't get splatters around- spend the time it takes to protect the area well yourself. There are some painters who are meticulous and clean, but they are few and far between. YMMV.
