Yo1
Does anyone know of a place in Joco to refill oxygen tanks. Right now my Mexican family is going to Guad everyday to fill up tanks because the places in Chapala and Riberas are charging WAY more than in Guad. And the rent on the tanks is about 5000 pesos a week. Highway robbery. Any help is appreciated!!
RVGRINGO
They would benefit from owning an oxygen concentrator, especially if they can find a used one. Then, they would only need to use a portable tank when they leave the house.
Kiko
On Vicente Guerreo across from Ferreteria Venado is a store that has oxygen tanks. I assume he does exchanges. I do not know the name of the store.

Yo1
He needs more oxygen than a concentrator can deliver.
Fred Habacht
My wife needed 02 to supplement her concentrator and our only option was to rent refills in Riberas. Each refill doubled in cost until a friend go us a large tank in Quad.
RVGRINGO
Most oxygen concentrators can deliver 5L/Min. Portable ones are more limited. I have bottles, plus concentrators, and am oxygen-dependent. The VA is my source, and the reason that I am no longer in Chapala at over 5000' elevation. Yo1
Thanks for all the info, todos. He needs 11 LPM and a concentrator can't deliver that much. But he's getting a non-rebreather mask today and that should help with less need per minute.
