Seychelles, Chile, Bahrain and Mongolia, 50% to 68% of the populations have been fully inoculated but each is seeing a surge in Covid 19 cases.

But is it the original  COVID or the new variant?

This refers to transmission of virus.  The vaccine may still keep you out of hospital.   This is not made clear by many of the articles that came out in the last few days.

Lakeside , in Europe the story is that Great Britain  got on a major campaign to vaccinate everyone and gave everyone their first short but few got the second as the labs could not supply fast enough so many people only have one shot wich will not protect you much with Astreca Zeneca. They have several variants as well.   That is what is being said in Europe , I do not know if it is correct but that is the version of the story that is going around. Many people who had only one shot are getting covid  but I do not know if the number of death is going up and I have not looked ito it.
