Does anyone know if the J & J vaccine is available in the area now?

J&J will be distributed to border entities for the population between 18 and 39 years old who live in the vicinity of the United States. With the vaccination of this population in 39 municipalities, it is hoped to advance in the reopening of the border with the United States.

Here we have Astra Zenica in smaller towns and some Pfizer in greater Guadalajara in addition to Astra Zenica

I just copies this from vaccines.gov, maybe it will be helpful to you:

Need help finding a vaccine in the U.S.? Call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 888-720-7489)

That 800 number does not work from Mexico it seems.

J&J available available above border.  No problem

I can get a reasonably priced plane ticket to fly to San Antonio TX July 16th. Do you know if they will still be giving J & J by then?

Here is a list of all the locations and types of vaccines available as of yesterday June 21  in Laredo Texas.

You will see some require an appointment, and others take walk-ins
