More vaccines arrive in Jalisco; Tomorrow begins application of second dose for Tlajomulco and El Salto

Recommended Posts

In addition, the Secretary of Health, Fernando Petersen, informed that tomorrow the vaccination with a second dose of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer-BioNTech will start in the municipalities of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga and El Salto.

Saw this on the El Informador.  Anyone else can confirm this or have more information of alphabetical or not?

As of  4PM Monday neither the Jalisco official website nor the UdeG webside (they did the first Tlajomulco drive in) shows any information.

They can be updated at any time.

I clicked on these links but saw nothing regarding vaccine shots at the University of Guadalajara in Tlajumulco. There will be shots given in Tlajumulco but not at the University where you drive through.

Click the first link. Scroll down to where it says drive thru. All is there now at 7pm

Any guess how  a car with "  mixed alpha "   last names might be handled  ? . or allowed ?

On Channel 4 Guad news this a.m. reporter at one of the Tlajomulco sites spoke with a very elderly Mexican  lady who had arrived with her husband. HIS last name applied. Hers did  NOT..... and they turned her away.  IMO you'd better start scrambling for non-mixed alpha companions

On April 15th we received our 1st Pfizer shot in the El Salto location that is shown on the Jalisco Government posting that "Ariboy" copied and posted (4 posts previous to this post.)  We left Ajijic at 8:00am this morning arrived at the El Salto site (about 3 kms from the airport). Had our second shot of Pfizer at 10:00am (we were probably within the first 60 vaccinated which didn't commence until 9:10am.  We were home in Ajijic at 11:05am.  Documentary proof of both shots in hand and only 26 days between the two vaccinations.

We have two sets of friends who attended the Cutlajomulco drive through site for their second  Pfizer shot this morning and their experience was much the same as ours (for time).   They were quite suprised to see far fewer people than when they received their first vaccination.   These two couples are long term seasonal use home owners in Ajijic but do not have a CURP number which didn't present a problem on either occasion.    Same time frame between shots for our friends.   Primary letter of their last names wasn't an issue.

Tlajomulco?  ABCD and E were today.

The website still says tomorrow, Wednesday, is pendiente.

Another posting said vacunas will be given through the 14th at Tlajo.

My question is if we are last name F, G, H, I, or J should we assume we should be going to Tlajo tomorrow or should we waint until the website is updated. Anyone?

Thanks.
