Not true

I have had 55+ years experience with all sorts of antiques and my knowledge is based on what is called FACT from research and a goodly amount of feeling and fondling. You seem to spend a lot of TIME WASTING arguing with people who clearly know more than you do.

As kids we always looked forward to DST as it meant we could play out side later

What's not true?

"The history of watches began in 16th-century Europe, where watches evolved from portable spring-driven clocks, which first appeared in the 15th century."

Wikipedia

Watches WHEREN'T IN COMMON USE UNTIL CENTURIES USE LATER.

Why do you insist on being ignorant of the facts and posting such foolishness. Portrait of a 17th century gentleman with his WATCH and stone litho circa 1591 of a CLOCK  makers shop. Any fool can google FACTS about watches and clocks including hundreds of fotos. Repeating BS does not make it truth. This behaviour seems to be a habit of yours.

edit: Queen Elizabeth I was given a WRIST WATCH in 1571.

LOL! He/she will be happy today because the meals come early. Now, cookie time? Cora knows exactly when it's cookie time and Ginny is always happy that she does.

My Golden Retrievers stomach is more accurate then A Patek Philip watch when it comes to breakfast, lunch and dinner time,  but then again she is priceless. 😊

Daylight saving time always confuses my dog's stomach.

our dogs had me up at exactly 7 a.m. The poodle went back to bed and the westie went outside to look for the gardener and play! He had enough sense to come at 8.
