mexbound
Our toaster oven is broken. Looking for a repair shop lakeside that I could take it to. Recommendations?
Curmudgeon
The best place I have found is the small shop on Colon, ½ block north of the carretera, east side.

johanson
The folks at the Ajijic "Electrico Domestico" are the best. It is amazing what they can fix. They come highly recommended. I too forgot the name of the store. But I sure do know where their store is, in West Ajijic.

Ferret
The name of the place is "Refrigeracion CAMARENA" and Curmudgeon nailed the location. Besides doing small electrical appliances, they are also excellent at tuning up and fixing portable propane heaters. Don't wait until you really need your heater to get it tuned/fixed. btw, parking is difficult and you don't need to take the propane tank.
RVGRINGO
We have used them at their Chapala location, while we lived just down the street. They are the very best, and you need look no further for others.

diandbeau
Is there any repair shop in Chapala?
RVGRINGO
Yes. It is the same outfit. On Lopez Cotilla, north side of the street, and they have a sign. The street is one-way westbound, so you will see it on your right. I can't remember the number, but it is easy to find. If you are on foot, walking eastward, it will be about two blocks east of Madero and the mercado publico, on your left as you walk east.
