ibarra
Not sure how anyone can function in MX without a CURP # as it is needed for almost everything. But... you can obtain one very quickly from this website (The person needs to have their immigration card/document available to fill out the form. No cost.): https://www.gob.mx/tramites/ficha/consulta-e-impresion-de-la-curp/SEGOB175

AlanMexicali
Probably in the first week of Oct. you will be able to get vaccinated by private clinics or pharmacies by paying for it.
AlanMexicali
https://news.yahoo.com/mexican-president-says-mexico-doing-175102692.html "López Obrador has demanded the United States vaccinate the millions of Mexicans living in the U.S. with or without legal documents; Mexico says its consulates in the United States have even been registered as vaccination centers." But a photo circulated on social media showed a sign posted last week outside one Mexico City vaccination center stating “No Foreigners Will be Vaccinated.” Presidential spokesman Jesús Ramírez said that was a mistake, and promised everyone over 60, foreigners and Mexicans alike, would have access to vaccines. “That was a photo of one center, and that message was corrected,” Ramírez said. lakeside7
I thought I read that "everyone" included the asylum seekers would be included. But I guess not many of them are over 60?

It is a waste of time.

Not exactly accurate: In this first phase, México is vaccinating people with CURP cards, starting with healthcare professionals, outlying-area seniors, then by age (in decades.) EVERYONE, including migrants and people without residency status, is eligible but their enrollment period will come after all the others have presented for the vaccines. The Mexican government has been adamant about vaccinating as many people as possible, but prioritizing those groups noted above.
