adolphsj 66
Can someone give me a little more detail on the license new/renewal building location “on the east end of the malecon”. Especially coming down the street next to the malecon, west to east. Just past the yacht club?? Gracias

barrbower 377
A little head's up. You prepay for everything at the recaudadora office where you pay refrendos (car registration.) They give you a receipt which you take to the license building. I think you will need to make an appointment, which in true Mexican style, will be loosely adhered to. cedros 984
Are they just doing renewals there or new licenses?

jrod 224
Go along the malecón until the Yacht Club double doors are on your right. Look immediately to your left: there is a small tienda and a road that heads north. Go up that road and the parking area is on the right; the white building wall is on your left; it has a poster "painted" on the wall with all the requirements for each of the licenses. Yes, you do need a previous appointment. All your photocopies must be very legible, including that of your bank pre-payment. They will keep most of these.

mexijims1 51
Yes, directly across the street from the Yacht Club, on the left. More specifically, turn left into the driveway just before Lupita Cafe and you will wind up in the big parking lot. Building will be to your left as you drive in. Carolina 31
Somebody mentioned a copy of 'bank pre-payment'. To clarify, do you prepay at a bank or at the Recaudadora? TIA.
Mostlylost 1,497
If you know the exact amount you can do so at either.
mexijims1 51
Not sure whether or not the bank will give you the 50% discount you are entitled to with an Inapam card? Went to Recaudadora and received the 50% Inapam discount off the original 642p total for the driver's license renewal fee.
