Mostlylost 1,483
You can send it for a fee at Handymail or Ishop mail They both send once a week to USA where the letters are placed in a USPS mailbox. As long as you are not sending financial instruments no problem.

They also send their US mail more than once a week and they deliver directly to the P.O. in Laredo, not placed in a mailbox.

Financial instrument = possible problem depending on amount. As to directly to Post Office.... do they walk in, wait in line, and hand it to someone behind the counter or drop it in the mailbox at the Post Office?

There is NO problem with the amount, just that over a certain amount it has to reported. They take the mail to an unloading dock (I have been there) as there are 9 IShop stores in Jalisco, 2 Lakeside. 4 In Guadalajara, and 3 in P.V....PLUS small mail services around the country that use the IShop facility for US Mail delivery. You are really showing your ignorance about this issue as you have no idea how many packages, boxes, of art work and hundreds of other items that is shipped north to the US Mail and you say they are going to drop it into a "mail box".....Laughable!!! Wise up a little before you tell me I´m wrong, but really "me vale"

Mostlylost 1,483
Sorry I did not realize that Ishop had such a large office and receiving center in Laredo.
Floradude 255
I sent a $5000 dollar check as a wedding present several months back and IShop never blinked.

The number is $10,000us to trigger financial reporting. If they have a total of over that amount in one shipment they must declare it to the US government by law

southland 53
Invariably, posters are compelled to call out someone else wrong, even using the OP's own words in a backlash mode of responding. In the threads above, for example, neither wrong, nor not wrong were necessary, only incendiary. The content didn't change a whit. One can post an opinion, even perhaps a fact, without preloading it with senseless emotional attack. Let the reader judge. Strunck & White: Write only the words needed, economy of words; this might apply especially when spiteful, argumentative words are nearly always unneeded. Deliver a message without them and give the world a chance at calm reasoning. Oh, and up yours. LOL.
