MD referral needed to start physical therapy sessions?

Recommended Posts

I am procrastinating getting physio therapy at Quality Care. Beautiful new facility. There are two therapists there, one man, one woman. The charge is 600 pesos for the first indepth evalutaion. This is the time to bring up any scans, skeletal problems, etc. I like Ricardo there, he is very capable and has a nice way about him. Sessions after that are 300 pesos but he will give you a "homework" excercise plan mostly isometric for at least 3 days a week. Then in check in with him for when you feel you need a progress report. He will know if you are following it, that will decide whether you are going to get encouragements or a whipping😈😈😈😈😁

There is another sports medicine clinic right across from QC, there is an elevator to the second floor where QC is located. There is a new fully stocked shop of medical equipment. The San Antonio Hospital is right next door with an MRI and xray. Lots of doctors of all types, mostly specialists. Lots of parking.

Lots of world class caretakers to help you.

Is that just hyperbole or do you truly believe that....

I do believe it. You have to realise that while many of the top specialists and academics of the world can work anywhere they want, they do not always choose the highest bidder, typically the U.S.A.

  • Thanks 1
