Does anyone know why there was no garbage pickup Saturday, at least in southeast Ajijic?   Just wondered if it’s likely to be picked up Monday or Tuesday so I can put it out again. Really piling up on the corners.

I won't see Delegado Juan Ramon until monday, but, I will ask what's up with the spotty garbage pickup. A service was hired to avoid these situations, yet, they continue. I'll ask!

I PM'd the Delegado yesterday late morning and his answer was that they were running late.  This AM I told him they never made it to our street and he said he would look into it and asked where I lived.

They did get to us in SE Ajijic but they were late.  Remember, there's a ton of holiday trash at this time every year.  At least where we are trash pickup has been the one government service that is much improved.  Otherwise, the street is full of baches with no sign of repair.

Maybe we brought ours in too early in the afternoon (normally get picked up around 8AM). There was no way to get it out of direct sun on sidewalk and it was 'baking' in the bag so we brought it into carpark. 

I agree that Ajijic Centro's trash services are normally excellent, been years since we had any issues.
