Mijo
Planning on acquiring a scooter soon. Wondering if there are any other scooter folks who ride, to share info, and maybe go on a ride.
gringolokito
I got one. Don't know if you would classify it as an actual scooter. I wanted something that could handle the faster roads so I got a Veloci 250R. It's what is called a double purpose bike. We would call it an enduro in the US. But it has served the purpose of not waiting for buses.
Mijo
How scary is it driving a scooter. Got pic of it?
Tingting
I ride one and feel more comfortable on it than in the car. You also get through traffic easier...BUT you have to be doubly careful because drivers don't always see you, and I'm not talking about zipping in and out of traffic. You have to keep your distance because the scooters can't stop on a dime while cars can. Mine is only 150cc, but it's perfect for my needs. I just ride a cheapie Italika so that if/when it starts to fall apart, I don't have a lot invested in it. So far, I've had 3 and am happy. Hope that helps a bit. Kiko
I would suggest you look at the models with 17" wheels fore and aft, same price or cheaper than the 10"/12" wheel models but far more stable for uneven road surfaces. 1
