Euphemisms are words that allow to hide or "disguise" meanings that can deal with taboo subjects or be sensitive for people. For Mexicans, it is very easy to use this resource either as a courtesy or simply for fun. In these two sessions you will be able to learn about different euphemisms frequently used in Mexican speech; some of them use word games and others are created from sentences that offer new meanings.

These classes are aimed at advanced students.

Package 4. Everyday situations: a doctor's appointment.

2-session class.

Wednesday, February 24 & March 03.

From 10:00 to 11:30 am.

$200

Being in a new country not only implies a new language and a different culture, it is also necessary to learn how public services operate. The most important (and most unexpected) thing is our health, so in these two classes we will study what it takes to make an appointment with the doctor and start a conversation about our health: the symptoms of our discomfort, diagnosis, prescription and treatment.

In addition we will mention requirements and information related to the Mexican Public Health System.

These classes are aimed at intermediate and advanced students
