ajijic2
Looking for recommendations to replace the glass tabletop on my dining room table. Need an 8' X 4' approximately 1" thick piece of beveled glass. We had a little accident and the table is now unusable. Thanks in advance. John Shrall
It won’t be cheap but the glass shop on the mountain side of the carretera between Colon and Juarez in Ajijic can make one.
happyjillin
There is a glass place beside Coppel on Madero in Chapala that is probably less $'s than in Ajijic. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean!

bmh
Just saying that Ajjc ´s stores over charge in comparaison to Chapala´s, without really checking ... usual... Just check both places and go with the one you like better... all this prejudice is just to make him feel superior and more knowledgeable.. We use this glass place exclusively. They installed all of the windows when we built our home. Have come to the house for window and window frame repairs over the years. They cut glass pieces for the tops of many items within our casa. FYI We did price comparisons and asked about customer service before we decided on this business. Go Solar
Also across the main drag and just south from there on or near the corner is a good small glass and window shop, Adrian and son run it, check with them as well.

I appreciate the advice but...which main drag? Where? Ajijic? Chapala? Elsewhere? Near which corner? A little more detail would be useful. Thanks.
