RickS
I have never been asked for a return ticket when entering Mexico..... but There is a company online called Air Onward Ticket that will let you rent a ticket for $7.95 USD. So if I run into this issue I go to their website https://aironwardticket.com/ and rent a return ticket for a few bucks. "They" say it works great..... the rented ticket is only good for 36 hours but that is all you need to prove you have a way to get back. mudgirl
Some countries require a return ticket to be shown, but Mexico isn't one of them.
thevalerieleigh
Once about 10 years ago, I had to buy a return ticket when checking in at the Delta counter in Atlanta. I bought a First Class ticket so I could cancel without any penalty. I'd never had to do it before nor since. I have been asked for a return to the US date and just make one up. When pushed further, I explain I'm driving back instead of flying. So far, that seems to satisfy them. Stay safe! Val Jones
Out1
We have had this problem come up several times over the last 13 years; showed our Residente Permanente card and the problem went away.
