RA_John
I like to swim laps for an hour or so a few times a week but .. The indoor pool next to S & S auto in Riberas is fully booked ! The Monte Carlo Inn in Chapala is still closed / reserved for covid patients until January. The Hotel Real de Chapala doesn't have swimming for non-guests. Any suggestions about where to swim? Thanks
cedros
A private pool somewhere-perhaps Hotel Perico on the libramiento. I swam laps for years at the pool in the Raquet Club but it is usually too warm. My own pool had laps that were a bit short. Good luck finding something. Post if you do. CHILLIN
How about anywhere? I have an Akona Quantum wetsuit for sale. Size 5 xl but dont let that put you off. Wetsuits are always too tight. 3 mm tropical weight, down to a comfortable 65 degrees. $150 US.

There is no place lakeside really, even though we are on a large lake. The lake is cold and dirty but if you wear the right gear it would be okay. I have looked and given up. RA_John
I do have a wet suit that I used here last January to March but I wouldn't be comfortable in the lake. An unheated or partially heated pool would be OK

What do you mean 'not swimable' - shallow, dirty, or what. It's a huge pool and they did empty, clean and refill at least once a year. Haven't been to the park in a while due to the virus .
