I just retired and would love to live near the lake. Can any other veterans help me with this transition and let me know please? Any help in this matter would be grateful.... Mexicoafterlife Posted May 19, 2022 Report Share Posted May 19, 2022 I can say that if your not retired but have va access because of a disability you can apply thru the va to get covered for anything you are disabled for they the lakeside medical. And I checked with the va it is all legal thru the disabled overseas vet program. Have to fill out some forms and then wait for the paperwork about 4 weeks.
