After I made the reservations, I sent an email to the consulate for information and they replied that I should send another email requesting an appointment two weeks before my flight. I have the photos and the forms that I need, but have no idea what to expect when the time comes to email the renewal request. Did you receive your new passport the same day as your first appointment or did you have to return for it? Is it a standard passport or is it a modified "emergency" one?
