Chapaladeb
How does one go about getting a criminal record check for oneself? An international volunteer program I am planning to join requires it? I have lived in Chapala for 7 years, and have Permanente status. Mostlylost
I would guess that the Jalisco Secretary of State can do that. The document issued in Chapala is in color with your picture. What country is the intended use? They would possibly want a Federal No Antecedentes Penales which you get in Mexico City

I will be going to Costa Rica, when their borders open to residents of Mexico - hopefully January. I’ll check with them if they need Federal. Thanks! By the way, I live in Chapala but cannot envision the “office on the lake side of the market.” Do you mean the town hall across from the church?
