sm1mex
Does anyone know of a nursery selling parsley (perejil).
Dan Hodge
Celeste at the little plant shop on Madero in Chapala had some last week. If not in stock she can get it for you.
sm1mex
Can you give a landmark for Celeste on madero?
Dan Hodge
Better yet, here's her number 33 1447 8926. On the West side North of Surtidor.
Bisbee Gal
I have seen it at the little flower and plant shop in Ajijic on the south side of the carretera at Marcos Castellanos.
More Liana
Do any of the plant people still go to the Wednesday tianguis? At one time, parsley (and cilantro, and hierbabuena, and romero, and oregano, etc) plants were available there every week.
dichosalocura
To find Celeste's mini nursery, walk north on Madero on the left side, walk to the Surtidor grocery store, keep going a few doors up until you see a pastelería or cake shop, it is the next shop. Arrive before 3, she has early hours. She has perejil among several other herbs. But in all honesty, most nurseries including our Walmart usually carry potted herbs. Karina G
I believe the vivero that brought plants to the Wednesday tianguis was the one in San Juan Cosala on the lake side of the Carretera, about half way thru town. You could visit in person and check.

sm1mex
We found parsley plants at the nursery behind Ajijic clinic hospital. First try they were out but had many Wednesday.
CHILLIN
Anyone seen Italian Parsley in their travels?
sm1mex
I don't know what Italian parsley is but what we bought is the flat leaf, not the curly.
CHILLIN
Flat leaf is the one I am looking for. A lot more herbal flavor than curley. Used in many Mediterranean dishes, especially Tabouleh salad.
sm1mex
They still had it Friday. Their truck delivery comes on Wed.
