CalGal
I have been trying to pay my CFE bill online as I usually do, but it will not accept any of my credit/ATM cards this time. Is anyone else having that problem?? I have been trying for 3 days now. And, yes I do know I can pay at an Oxxo and other places.
moonhill
I have the same issue with CFE. What app or website are you trying?

AmNGDL
I have never been able to pay online with a US debit card. Therefore, I download the bill, it is scanned and I pay at OXXO.

lakeside7
Gosh if it is that difficult to pay your bill, no wonder CFE has a huge delinquent number of customers.....you would think a normal company would make it easy to collect monies..how many MX's in the pueblos have CC? Mostlylost
People in "small towns" receive the bill at their house. Thus they know how much to pay. Also many people have cell phones and can access easily via the federal website or the CFE website. The reason so many people are delinquent is cultural. "The government is corrupt so I don't need to pay" There is a huge number of non-payers in AMLO's home state who have never been cut off. CalGal
I tried using my Mx issued card, and two other US cards......Nada. They hate me!
Mostlylost
If you have a BBVA you can pay CFE directly using the app. Or get a digital card that generates a CVV good for 2 1/2 minutes. I always use the digital card to pay online. It has never been rejected Don't know about other Bank's apps but I would think they offer similar options
JGiff
I pay mine from Canada and have no problem when using the app. Paying with a Canadian CC but use my San Nicolas zip code
John Shrall
Once you successfully paid using a credit card, there is a button on the screen that allows you to subscribe your payment. Once selected you are then on auto-pay and no longer have to worry about the system refusing your attempt. The end date of my last bill was August 12. CFE has not yet charged my card but will likely do so soon.

I gave you a link earlier to pay online. Just curious, why did you choose not to use it? They take foreign credit cards and PayPal.
