glws7777
Finally got high speed with a price. Now the phone is on the same modem and the sound is terrible also if you shut the modem off to reboot or if it breaks down no lanline anymore. Try and get a hold of anyone these days ...not easy. Speeds are great though!

Curmudgeon
We've had Telmex fiber for several months. My experience has been that it's very reliable, and the voice connection quality is far better than it was with the copper wires.

glws7777
Still checking all my connections found cable to be. Cable is damaged so changed out and is much better
geeser
Telmex fiber optic is great and fast both download and up. The phone quality is very clear and works except when we have power failure due to CFE incompetence. Of course, that's because the modem is off, where previously on 2-wire copper the phone usually stayed on during these frequent outages. Dostortas
I had the same problem, so much static on the phone line you could hardly hear the dial tone. I used a phone splitter and the signal was fine. Why??? I have no clue but it worked for me.
SoxFan
Does this mean Telmex fiber coming to Riberas eventually?

ArcosAngels
Greetings To All We are new to the area and wondering just where the TelMex office that's currently open, is located. The TelMex office in Ajijic according to the website is closed and we're unable to locate just where theirin other offices, ARE located. If anyone has ANY helpful information in this regard, it would be greatly appreciated!
Mostlylost
The nearest office is in Guadalajara. There are hundreds of towns that do not have a Telmex office. Services are available. You should be able to do anything you need either by phone at 800-123-2222 or on their website https://telmex.com/web/hogar/
