Spanish a la carta.
 
This is a new online program from LCS for its members, learners and practitioners of Spanish.
Our offer includes advanced and intermediate level conversation sessions. Sessions with specific grammar topics and sessions to improve listening comprehension and pronunciation.
For some classes, some material will be sent over email previous to the class for you to read so that your participation is smooth and you can get the most out of it. 
Our offer is divided into packages with specific work activities.
 
The four sections we offer are as follows:
 
Improve your pronunciation of Spanish.
Conversation for intermediate.
Conversation for advance.
Practical Grammar
 
These four sections consist of different groups of classes you can choose from
 
The sessions are online. (we use Zoom) 
Each session lasts 70 minutes.
Registration is online through PayPal.
If you wish to make your payment in cash, please send an email to directoreducacion@lakechapalasociety.com
Sessions are limited to 9 participants.
No refunds.
To participate you must be an active member and your membership must cover the duration of the classes.
 
Improve your pronunciation of Spanish.
These classes will help you improve your pronunciation by doing vocal exercises and practice.
 
Package 1. /g/, /gu/, /gü/ and /j/ sounds.
2-session class.
Tuesday & Friday, Sept 15 and 18.
From 10:00 to 11:10 am.
$200
We will carry out some exercises to practice the sound both auditory and oral. We will also learn how to identify the sound represented by the corresponding letter and replicate it.
 
Package 2. /ll/, /y/ and /ñ/  sounds
2-session class.
Wednesday, September 23 and 30.
From 10:00 to 11:10 am.
$200
We will carry out some exercises to practice the sound both auditory and oral. We will also learn how to identify the sound represented by the corresponding letter and replicate it. Did you know that LL has 4 sounds in Spanish?
 
Package 3. Where to emphasize words in Spanish.
3-session class.
Friday, Sept 25, Oct 02, and 09.
From 10:00 to 11:10 am.
$300
Spanish language syllables, the rules to accent a word and some practice. 
After this class, you will be able to emphasize any word in Spanish if you apply what you learn.
 
Conversation for advance.
Various topics. We will practice our Spanish and learn more vocabulary for advanced level.
 
Package 1. Conversational topics.
3-session class.
Tuesday, Sept 15, 22 and 29.
From 12:00 to 1:10 pm.
$300
One topic per session. The topics are: El éxito y el fracaso (success and failure), La publicidad (the advertising), Viajar (to travel). 
Learn some vocabulary as we practice our conversational skills.
 
Package 2. Conversational topics.
3-session class.
Wednesday, Sept 23, 30 and Oct 07.
From 12:00 to 1:10 pm.
$300
One topic per session. The topics are: La comida (food), El internet, El futuro (the future).
Learn some vocabulary as we practice our conversational skills.
 
 
Conversation for intermediate.
Various topics, let’s practice our Spanish and learn more vocabulary for intermediate level.
 
Package 1. Cita con el doctor (doctor’s appointment)
2-session class.
Friday, October 02 and 09.
From 12:00 to 1:10 pm.
$200
Sometimes we either get sick or feel bad. How to express the type of pain you feel, the name of the parts of the body, name of different illnesses, etc, as we have a conversation.
Learn vocabulary and expressions necessary to this topic.
 
Package 2. Conversational topics.
3-session class.
Tuesday, Sept 22, 29 and Oct 06.
From 10:00 to 11:10 am.
$300
One topic per session. The topics are: Tu familia (your family), La moda (fashion), La vida sana (Healthy life).
Learn some vocabulary as we practice our conversational skills.
 
 
Practical Grammar
Let’s see the practical use of grammar in the Mexican version of Spanish.
 
Package 1. Aquí, acá, ahí, allí, allá / este, ese, aquel.
2-session class.
Friday, Sept 18 and 25.
From 12:00 to 1:10 pm.
$200
Learn what they are and how to use place adverbs and demonstrative pronouns to denote location of things, people, places by distance, number and gender. This is a class that does not involve difficulty. We will do exercises to reinforce what we will learn.
