Tomorrow Governor will announce if necessary

From University of Guadalajara website.

On Thursday, July 30, they will announce if the emergency button is to be activated by COVID-19 results, which would imply a halt to economic activities in Jalisco for at least 14 days.

The Governor of Jalisco reminded us that if the 400 cases of weekly incidence and 50% of hospital occupation were reached, the break would have to occur, and today Jalisco is dangerously close to those figures as of today.

"That is why today we are taking several tasks, we are all taking tasks, to do analysis and we are going to meet on Thursday, hoping to have conclusions, we trust that with the discipline and commitment of Jalisco, to the extent that all Let's do our part and we all understand that we have to leave the house only for what is necessary and to the extent that we understand that the emergency is not over, I am confident that with the solidarity and commitment of all we will be able to leave ahead".

From University of Guadalajara website.

They discard the total stoppage of activities by COVID-19 in Jalisco, for which the emergency button will be reconsidered, Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez officially confirmed. The settings will be announced on Sunday.

And because entrepreneurs and businesses are not to blame for the infections, which have occurred mainly in family gatherings, with friends and in the nightlife and not in economic or work activity, as Alfaro specified when concluding a meeting with businessmen, officials and with the Rector of the University of Guadalajara.

So we will hear more on Sunday

Thank G-d they are finally coming to their senses.  People are always going to get together and get together they will.  If all malecones and public spaces close up people will just get to together in their small cramped homes to have their fiestecitas and with grandma in the back room.  Thats what they did during the previous quarantine.  I'd rather see them in the open air, sitting in the plazas, parques and on the malecón, it is at least healthier that way.  If it makes you nervous, just keep your distance.

social events is what the governor is going to go after , not the close of the businesses,They finally got it.. The virus is spread  in gathering at social events much more than via businesses.. so they will clamp down on fiestas and social events and will  leave the businesses alone.. Some good sense-
