Ter
I have never used a vpn. I want to view the major U.S. TV networks. If I get a vpn do I have free access to them or do I need to buy another service also?

Or you can get them free without a VPN on USTVNOW.com
nolajoe
USTVnow does not offer a free option as of a couple of weeks ago. The best that you can get without paying is a ten day trial. They blamed the change on the pandemic.

The good news is you don't need a VPN subscription to access them, and they offer DVR.

pappysmarket
Used to be able to get USTVNOW on Roku but a year or two ago Roku kicked them off for allegedly being pirates which they deny. You can sign up and watch on your Android phone which is probably not what you want to do. So just buy a Chromecast device, plug it into your tv and then you can cast your phone to the tv. I do it all the time since USTV is the cheapest streaming way to get ESPN and some other channels without a $60 package that includes lots of channels I don't care about. And, as previously mentioned, you don't need a VPN.
