Holalola
Telmex shipped us a new modem last week. As far as I knew, the old one was working fine. My question is...what do I do with the old one? Do I need to return it somewhere locally, ship it back to the return address in CDMX or toss it? I tried searching for an answer but didn't have any luck. Thanks in advance for your help.
tkessler
They probably upgraded your service area to VDSL and your old ADSL modem can't work at the higher speed. You might be able to leave it at the Telmex office, toss it, sell it, or keep as an inferior but functional backup. . No one seems to care .
Mostlylost
I second the suggestion to keep it as a backup. If they did not send you a return mailing label they don't want it.
