Greetings To All -

We've recently relocated to San Antonio/Tlayacupan and have brought a home.

We're in the process of hiring contractors for renovations and have 1 gentleman we're interested in.

Alejandro Vasquez

He seems to be pretty sharp, but we welcome any and all Customer Reviews from folks who've had work completed, by Alejandro.

Look forward to your replies

Why don't you ask him for references with names and contacts, and do your own due diligence?

I really, really want to occasionally utilize this webboard as a resource for information from locals in the community.

It appears this is a place for SOME, to simply vent their spleen randomly at others.

Wish everyone the best and Happy Father's Day.

Arcos Angels, Zed is correct about asking you what specific work you need done. And I would not relay on the contractor's own references.

Too bad he has not answered.  I know someone who does a good job on many things and is now in need of work.

Zed, Zeb, Happyjillin

Thanks for your helpful responses. We are having quite a bit of work done...new tile floors, cabinetry in kitchens.

In addition, we have to replace our propane tank, plumbing repairs and new light fixtures.

THAT Is the low hanging fruit. So again, any and all suggestions from people whose work you've been satisfied with, would be greatful.

Happyjillin just curious - Did Amigo Rogy do all the exterior work you have in the picture? Roofing??

Would appreciate all referral info.

Thank You

AA

Just the tile over the windows and doors and a new faux tile roof over our outside sitting area roof work. Yes he did everything else too, including some plumbing and electrical He has built new houses too as well as doing excellent renos. Keeps to his quoted price and timeline.

Rudy Rodolfo is what I would call a general contractor hear lakeside. In business for about 25 years.  Rudy builds new houses, remodels, pools, complete kitchens, complete roof redue removing cement and roof tiles, tile work and much more. Rudy's crew has been with him for many years.

Rudy is honest and has done extensive work at our casa along with several of our neighbors. Rudy will not give you the cheapest price but we would highly recommend him.    cell  #   333-4966-3187

Happyjillin's doors are wonderful.

gracias! I gave them a colonial door foto to work with. They are not wood. His iron worker did the metal and the painter used the tromp l'oeil technique to simulate wood.

Greetings To All

I would like to thank everyone who provided helpful information on contractors.

As many of you know, making this transition from a home you've known most of your life to a new country, has its' share of challenges.

But we're looking forward to the adventure and again, 'thank you' for your support!
