gringohombre Posted June 20, 2020 Report Share Posted June 20, 2020 Last week i chose to break the restaurant fast here and stopped by Alex Pasta for a late lunch. Tables separated but also wide open front with lots of fresh air. Decided on a favorite of mine, Fettuccine Alfredo. The very attentive waitress brought a basket of small toast pieces and fresh bred along with a red salsa, that i immediately applied to the toast. The meal came steaming hot...a guy appeared and asked if I wanted some Parmesan cheese, so I said yes expecting a bottle of grated cheese...but he produced a block of cheese and started scraping it on the dish until I gave him the stop sign. The Fettuccine obviously did not come out of a box...extremely long and wide strands cooked perfectly...and the sauce, just delicious. The meal $130, and 2 Negro Modelos at $40 ea. plus of course a generous tip. What a deal!!!! 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
