The traffic light to resume activities after the coronavirus emergency must be in charge of the federal government and not of the states , Olga Sánchez Cordero, secretary of the interior, considered Tuesday afternoon.  

After meeting with the National Conference of Governors (Conago), the head of domestic policy explained that the traffic light for the reopening of activities must be federal so that there is coordination towards the "new normality."  

"The traffic light must be federal, we cannot have local traffic light considerations because then it would be a total lack of coordination (...) we have to have federal coordination, hence the dialogue with the governors so that we all go with the same gradualness and same new normality, jointly reopening industries and companies, "he said.

Sánchez Cordero spoke in this way after some leaders exposed the situation of their states, or that even yesterday, the governor of Guanajuato , Diego Sinhue Rodríguez, presented his own traffic light for the economic reactivation of the state.
