Eric Blair
I ask this because I just read a closed thread how about a renter who died and the landlord will not let in a person who appears to be the next of kin or6 who had left some stuff with the now-deceased renter for safekeeping. Many of the suggestions involve getting an attorney however if anyone knows the realities of living in Mexico, getting an attorney would probably be useless because over the months or years that legal actions take, most likely the items will disappear. I would like to have a safety deposit box for valuable things and give a notarized authorization and key to whoever I want to have the items. HoneyBee
Yo1, do you know any in the GDL area ? I would be interested. Thanks
Zeb
What about the option of giving key to a friend? I realize that was not your question. Offering an alternative as I have also checked around for safe deposit boxes and have found none.
artsnob
Santander in GDL has them, but you have to open an account to get them, we have one at their bank in Mexico City
