stoneleigh
Now that Segura Popular and IMSS have merged how does one access Popular services? Use the old forms? Go to the old offices? Any guidance appreciated.
EldonNova
Have not tried this yet, but there were many comments about this a few months back. It said all you do is go where you went before with your ID and CURP and you will get free service. Not sure whether that sure stands now, but why not try and see what happens. I have Seguro Popular, and if I need service, I will go to the Chapala office (can't remember the street name) and see what happens. I usually just go there for flu shots every year. Due to the Covid Epidemic Both IMSS and SP clinics are working on a very restricted basis..best to go to the particular facility nearest you and check out their status
artsnob
It is best to go to their hospital near Jocotepec..
kam
Last time I was at the hospital (to have surgical stitches out), I was told it was going to be "emergencies only" so I would check in at your closest clinic before trekking out to Joco. Sonia
They did not merge. Seguro Popular is now called INSABI. Take your visa and a printout of you CURP.
