In this order trying after each: + Power off/on your speakers + Unplug/replug the speaker connection to the PC + Plug in a pair of compatible ear bud/headphones to see if they work + Power off/on your PC If that fails and if you have another device with the Internet and sound, go to this URL and follow instructions If that does not lead you to the problem then you will probably have to consult with a Windows PC technician in town. Telmex just seems to get worse and worse. PROBLEM SOLVED. A friend in Los Angeles said to check the speaker icon. On his computer it is located in the lower right corner of the screen. Well, on my computer it was not shown; however, when clicked on the hidden icon thing there it was among several other, and surprise it was off. Now the question is what :() shut it off? I have never seen him put up anything but helpful information had a few opinions but nothing and I will consider offencive. Of course those are the decisions that are left to the moderators. I ventured over there once and it was like I had poked a stick in a viper den. The deadly venom that was spewed out after I only made a offhand reference to my conservative leanings was overwhelming. The so called "moderator" (the bald bearded one) went so far as to fervently wish the Coronavirus on President Trump. He also made quire clear his hatred of moderater 2 here. Oh yeah, I realize it was because of "political" comments, but the moderator in question was involved in those threads, and has made many political comments himself, (which he self-excuses as only being in retaliation to other posts), so shouldn't be allowed to make the call on a suspension. 4 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I too differ in opinion politically with MC/M#2 but he is a wealth of information and has been right about a lot of issues on this board. He also has allowed me a wide berth in my often, off topic rants which have very strong and obvious political leanings.
