happyjillin
This was our 3rd delivery order from El Rey. He speaks English and is extremely accommodating and all 3 times the delivery was hotly fresh and even early. Two chamorro with fried rice dinners for $280p + $40p tip. 624-358-0247. Marco is the best and his food delicious. His brother delivers empanadas that his mom makes, both sweet and savory. The crust is so flaky. fordtruckman
Italian beef, chicken, pastrami, ham and cheese or mushroom are the usual. During lent tuna was popular

The crust is also different. I like them better. EDIT TO ADD: When high school is in session he parks his truck at a busy walking spot when school shifts change. Kids line up for the empanadas. You are culturally biased being that you only had them in Mexico. What does the name empanada mean? In Spanish, empanada means “breaded,” derived from pan, meaning bread. But that’s a bit misleading, because in Latin America today an empanada is a filled pastry, almost any kind of pastry made from flour or cornmeal and filled with almost anything imaginable, but usually with meats or seafoods of some kind. Could it be because I AM in Mexico that I like to Indulge in various Mexican empanadas? How is that a cultural bias?

Speaking of custard filling, Vickie’s has Boston Cream Donuts that are so delicious. The Bacon Maple glazed ones used to be my favorites but it is a tough choice now.
