Jeanneboo
I am making masks for high risk responders, nursing homes, etc. I am running out of pipe cleaners to secure the mask over the nose. Does anyone know where I can find some or would be willing to sell or donate some to me so I can continue? Thanks.
ajijicbound
You can use paper clips
.Colibri.
Have you tried making the fitted mask? They fit so well you don't need anything to make them snug.
artsnob
There is an art supply store on the corner of Hidalgo and Juárez in Ajijic centro, he has them in all kinds of colors..
Jeanneboo
Thanks for the hints. I fear that paper clips would be too stiff and be uncomfortable to wear. I'll check out the place in Ajijic, if they are open. I appreciate all the suggestions and support. Thanks.
artsnob
Also the dollar store on Ajijic plaza has them too but just in white or green...
dcstroker
My wife made my last mask with pipe cleaner for the nose and it made a huge difference. As a side note unless your using transparent fabric it shouldn't make a difference what the color is. The pipe cleaner is encased in the hem across the top. sm1mex
What about the twist ties that have the metal wire inside like a bread twist tie sealer. I don’t know where you can get them but just a thought.
