A week or two ago it was mentioned here that the building was being torn down.....  any news on that?

You must be thinking of some other building and business offices because there is nothing wrong  with all those nearly new buildings, which Quality Care is located in, north of the Pemex up the street from Walmart. You should know better than starting an unfounded and totally out to lunch rumour.

I went there to an appointment last Thursday, and have another this Thursday. Both to have stitches removed ( don't ask). They were closed over Santa Semana. They are unable to respond to emails because that would require a full time job. It is best to contact individual specialists by email or WhatsApp. Apparently Dr. Hector receives something like 200 emails a day. When you get an appointment they ask that you show up exactly on time, to minimize waiting room time. Wash your hands before you come in. If you are coughing, wear a mask, but best to wear a mask anyways. The door to the clinic is usually open, so you don't have to touch anything. If require hospital tests, say an endoscopy, bear in mind that most hospitals are now emergency care only.

The name is Plaza Interlago. It is certainly NOT being torn down.

Thanks for the replies. I guess some are taking a longer holiday. I got an appointment for tomorrow via Guadalajara.
