I need a cable going from my android phone to HDMI.

If you have one, I would buy it or trade for ?????

PM please, no point in giving the bashers room to be nastier.

Thanks.

It will be more than just a cable; there will be an MHL adapter as well. But they do have them. Note that some of them don't work, depending on the phone and the version of Android. And no real way to tell until you try it.

Every phone and tablet we have purchased in the last 5-6 years has come with a phone to HDMI cable and an HDMI to electric outlet gizmo.

I seldom use just the phone to HDMI to charge my phone because it's too darn slow and if I shut the source of the HDMI output off it ceases charging.

If a Smart TV is involved, a cable can be avoided by using the cell phone's "cast" capability.

Yes, it's going to be USB that you're seeing. Here's USB standard, HDMI, and USB C.
