Islander
This is such a useless discussion. All the "intelligent" people know that you will never convince the other side because "their truth" is different from "your truth" (learned that expression from a Canadian indigenous lady and have adopted it) That goes for any ideology, political view. religion etc. .....arguing your point makes no difference what so ever...... to either side of the spectrum.

What is the survival rate, which age groups are the most likely to get it? You can find out the answers to your questions by actually reading the news. There is no age group most likely to get it. Everyone can get it, of all ages. The survival rate depends on the underlying state of health of the victims, how soon they get treated, and how much medical assistance there is available. And whether it mutates to become even more deadly than it now is.

I have actually been reading el Informador and others but haven't found much other than AMLO thinks Mexicans do not have to worry about this

No, I want to know what is being done here, it may be interesting to know what Canada and the US are doing but doesn't apply here. Now the rumor are there is a confirmed case in Joco and four others waiting for the testr results. The President of Chapala is asking those who believe they may have it to come forward and get help, etc.
