johanson
I agree, virgo lady; I always come go up in late May and then come back in late June, once the rainy season has started.
slainte39
Seemed like a normal Tues. at Costco, Lopez Mateos. Not any unusual amount of shoppers.

I was in WalMart, Sam's, Costco yesterday. All was normal. Shelves well stocked. No need to panic.
bmh
yesterday, I was stopped by a cop at the usual reten near the Guatemala border and as I was bracing myself for some mordida demand, he shook my hand and said, "what do you think about the coronavirus? Pure lies? " I said no I think it is real and if you are old and sick you could die and if you are not you are ok.. He laughed and said , that is true,. " it is. just a subject of conversation...Have a great day.". I think it is a new pick up line down here in Chiapasm it replaces the old, " at what time are you going for the tortillas" I do not see anyonee afraid of it... mudgirl
There are now huge shortages of toilet paper and tissues being reported in Australia and places in the US ad Canada- people are buying it all up and hoarding it. And a Canadian reported witnessing a fight (seriously, in Canada, where people are usually overly polite) in a Costco over the last package of toilet paper. Jreboll
We were lucky. 3 months ago we decided to save on Sam’s yearly fee and just stock up on a year’s worth of essentials. We still have at least 6 month’s supply of essentials stored away. 1
